Important Note: Both ports of the Ethernet splitter must be used simultaneously to distribute the network signal to two devices, allowing both devices to operate concurrently. Devices connected to interface two will be operational. Additionally, a single-use scenario enables the RJ45 extender function, reducing frequent plugging and unplugging of interfaces. 

It’s important to note that you’ll need two Ethernet splitters to successfully split an Ethernet connection.
